Ch-ch-ch-anges!
Those who know me well, know that I am never afraid to make a change, especially when it comes to work. Well, this is what has happened: After my May follow-up appointments, and receiving the news that I will likely suffer from long-term side effects and a chronic condition for the foreseeable future, ie "always" (thank you, chemo and radiation - much appreciate the "gift"!), I knew that it was time to start making some large-scale changes, and reduce my life-work stress as much as possible. Hence, a new position! It's not that I didn't enjoy what I was doing as a legal project manager. The work itself was a very good fit for me, but as I have said before, cancer really does change you.
